A real-life Star Wars Landspeeder is coming

As a kid, imagine driving Luke Skywalker's Landspeeder while other kids were driving their measly toy Jeeps.

At Comic-Con, Radio Flyer announced its new X-34 Landspeeder that allows kids (and possibly adults, if you don't care what others think) to drive a toy version of Luke Skywalker's famous mode of transportation from the original Star Wars movie.

It may only travel as fast as 5mph, but it's still pretty cool. Check out the commercial that Radio Flyer made for the release.

The Landspeeder is powered by a rechargeable 12-volt battery, and it can be purchased starting on Sept. 5 exclusively at Toys 'R' Us.

The price tag isn't cheap, though. If you want to buy your kid Luke Skywalker's Landspeeder, it will cost $500. Yikes.

Given how passionate Star Wars fans are, it will probably sell very well this Christmas regardless of the price.
