Omar Chavez taught his son, Spenny, how to shift gears in his Subaru WRX STI. There were undoubtedly a lot of stalls along the way, but Omar took the time to give Spenny the chance to feel the joy of driving and to spend some quality time with his dad.

Spenny is blind and autistic, so it’s doubtful he’ll ever be able to independently drive a car. Omar has given his son a skill and an experience that will undoubtably help bolster his confidence self-worth. In other words, Omar is a pretty great guy.
