The winds and rain from Hurricane Irma led to hazardous road conditions along the East coast, and one driver nearly had a tree land on their car due to the winds.

A driver in Griffin, Georgia captured a video with their dashcam of a tree falling on the highway and nearly landing directly on the car in front of them.

Even without scoring a direct hit, the tree was still able to crash the car as there was no way of stopping that quickly in the rain.

Luckily the car wasn’t hit in the middle or the driver could’ve sustained serious injuries. It’s still scary to watch, and hopefully everyone is OK.
