Since its debut in 1982, the Buick Regal Grand National has been one of the all time contenders on the drag strip and racing circuit. There were originally only supposed to be 100 units ever made, but popularity demanded a retrofitting of more than 200 Regals with the Grand National package. By 1983 more than 3,700 Grand Nationals were produced, and the numbers just kept rising. The 1982 featured a naturally aspirated 4.1-liter V6 with 125 hp and 205 lb0ft of torque. The Grand National in this video has more than a few engine mods and tops out the dyno with a whopping 1,076 hp. Now that's the stuff of legend.
