Rob Wotzak has been welding crazy inventions out of bicycle parts and other materials since the 1990s. So, it's a wonder that it took the Milford, Connecticut man so long to whip up this incredible bicycle snow plow, considering that he hates shoveling snow and loves riding bikes.

While it may have been a long time in the making, Wotzak was finally able to whip up quite the epic bike snow plow, and, as you can see from the above ViralHog video, this thing can tackle a fresh snowfall pretty damn well.

"My family and friends are used to my crazy ideas, so it wasn't a surprise to anyone that I would build something like this," he told USA Today.

"The bike plow came about because I hate shoveling snow but love riding bikes. Plus, legs are stronger than arms, so a bike plow should be easier to use than a shovel, right?"

"I had a rusty old tractor plow sitting behind my barn for years, and I had often dreamed of turning it into a pedal-powered snow-moving machine. Finally, two years ago I grabbed the plow and a pile of bike parts and started cutting and welding."

Two years and two prototypes later, it looks like third time was the charm for Wotzak. Sure, this may not be as effective of a snow removal device as, let's say, a snow plow, but when it comes to pure ingenuity, this thing is pretty sweet.

"It's not perfect, but it works pretty well--way better than my first two attempts," Wotzak said. "Plowing with it is definitely a workout, though, so I don't know that I'd want to use it on anything more than my short, level driveway."

"If I had my way, I'd be designing and building fun stuff like this every day, so it's very satisfying to know that other people are getting enjoyment from my creations too!"

We wonder what DIY project this guy will tackle next. Keep it up, Rob!
