When Cleetus finally got his dream Corvette, he ran into a slight problem, or rather his head did in the form of the roof. At 6'6", he was just too tall for the stock roof in the stock seats. But even after order a transparent bubble top, he only gained about an inch of total clearance, which was especially problematic for the times he needed to wear his racing helmet. A no-frills Tillet racing seat eventually solved this problem because it mounted significantly lower into the seat frame. The only problem? Such convenience and luxury came at the steep cost of $2000.
