The guys at Clone 3D Print love their 3D printer, so they're always looking for a new excuse to build a new toy. In this video they ask the question 'how strong is a 3D printed part?' They've chosen a boat prop as their test subject and created replacements made out of ABS, wood, polycarbonate, and carbon fiber. An aluminum prop taken from a 15 HP Yamaha outboard motor and scanned by their EinScan-S to create a digital model. See which materials made it through the test in this fascinating video.
