The tow rig and twin-engine dragster have the same surprising build materials

Coming soon to Williamsburg: The new artisan-crafted, all-wood hot rod. Think of the hours you'll get to spend varnishing your totally-craftsman and painfully uncomfortable bench seats as you listen to old Elvis Costello cassettes.

This stretched Diesel Rat-Rod has the unique twin-engine setup, but with another twist. The entire body is set up as a custom job. That's right, it's a custom built WOODEN hot rod.

As awesome as this is, there are some drawbacks. For instance, think of something all cars are in danger of doing, crashing. Now think of something that accompanies everything made of wood, splinters.

Are you done cringing yet?

In the meantime enjoy the wooden Rat-Rod, from a distance of course.
