Would you pay what is approaching - in some cases, surpassing -- luxury car prices for a Ford F-150 Raptor?

That's the question Doug Demuro of AutoTrader tries to answers as he drives a $65,000 Ford F-150 Raptor. Sure, the Raptor does 0-60 in an insane 5.3 seconds even though it weighs 5,700 pounds. It has 450hp (40 more than the F-150) and 510 lb-ft of torque (8- lb-ft of torque more than vs. the F-150). Not only that, it has a number of luxury elements like adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera system and forward collision prevention, among other goodies. According to Cars.com, a new Ford F-150 has a MSRP that starts at $26,730. So what makes the Raptor worth more than twice that?
