This gearhead just managed to get a used ball bearing to spin at more than 80,000 rpm! After removing the metal shields he degreases the bearing in acetone. With nothing more than a stick and an air compressor he maxes out the tachometer at 82,000 rpm. After dropping the bearing on a tile slab he really lets the sparks fly!
