This incredible dash cam footage from the troopers patrol car shows a harrowing hit! This trooper was responding to a crashed car that presumably hit the median during some terrible weather. Suddenly a car comes careening in, already spun out, and hits the trooper and sends him flying. The car that struck him must have been speeding when it tried to brake and started hydroplaning and lost control.
Luckily, the trooper only suffered some broken ribs. While he's definitely going to be in some pain for a while he's still lucky to survive such a brutal hit. Remember to take caution when it rains!
