Brendon Hartley of Team Porsche absolutely thrashed his 919 Hybrid racer at the WEC 6 Hours of Silverstone over the weekend, when he tried to pass a competitor in a 911 Carrera on the right after a tight couple of turns. In the lead until that turn, Hartley lost his advantage as his car was thrown into the air over the 911, and sent them both reeling from the race track. Everyone involved in the collision was fine, with only superficial injuries noted.
