Ferocious fire fells Ferrari F40 Patrich Poggi / Facebook

Ferraris and supercars in general have a reputation for burning themselves to the ground at the slightest provocation. So much so, that it has become mundane when another exotic goes up in flames. But not this time. This was no ordinary Ferrari, nor was it even an ordinary Ferrari F40.

This F40 was owned by super rich hoons Tax The Rich and is believed to be one of only eight prototypes built by Ferrari for testing, according to Motor1. The F40 is regarded as one of the greatest Ferraris in the companies long history. In happier times, the F40 could be seen and, more importantly, heard tearing around a farm for their own take on Gymkhana. Now, it is forever retired and hooning around that farm upstate where all our family pets went to.
