If you haven't heard of the infamous "Can-opener" bridge, it's a low train trestle bridge in Durham, North Carolina which now features a fancy new warning system to tell the drivers of trucks taller than 11 feet, 8 inches that they need to turn around rather than try to scoot through the overpass. Unfortunately, between people being stupid and people not paying much attention, the bridge keeps claiming new blood. Oh, the irony is palpable.
