While viewers love to see a high speed crash, participants in the racing world dread it. Nacho Bernal was pushing nearly 1800 hp out of his QMP Racing Engines LSX436 Twin Turbo Camaro SS when he lost control at 200 mph on a closed airfield. The car flipped and rolled several times, but fortunately both occupants walked away thanks to their Snell rated helmets, 5 point G Force harnesses, and a custom 6 point roll bar installed by Deeds Performance. The on-site EMS crew rushed to their aid immediately, but the Camaro was toast. Unbelievably Nacho accomplished his goal and set the Camaro half-mile world record just moments before losing control of the vehicle.
