Ford is gradually building a better wrecking ball. The new 2018 Mustangs are getting a lot more power, with the new GT undergoing the most impressive upgrade, achieving 0-60 in under 4 seconds.

The boost was achieved by giving the GT 25 extra horsepower and 20 more pound-feet of torque. The end result is a car with 460 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque.

But just buying the GT isn't enough to smoke just about everything on the drag strip; you'll need to shell out a little more for some upgrades like the 10-speed automatic, allowing the GT to use "drag mode" and a performance package which includes a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires.

The EcoBoost Mustang is no slouch either, with 350 pound-feet of torque and 310 horsepower. You'll still be cruising at a solid speed, especially with the 10-speed automatic, while doing just a little less harm to the world around you. That is, until you ram a live oak while attempting a burnout, you environmental warrior, you.
