Kevin Davis is that cool guy with a cool car that a lot of us wanted to be like when we were growing up. He's been building cars since he was about 14-years-old and finally had the opportunity to build something truly iconic.
It is a replica, but the Shelby Cobra design is so iconic, that's what carries through. Authenticity is great, but at the end of the day, it's sometimes less about the history and more about creating and driving a beautiful piece of craftsmanship. That's what Kevin has created.
That being said, the Cobra replica isn't built to be stock. It's got modern conveniences like heated seats, cupholders, and door pockets. But it does carry the same power that made Carroll Shelby so proud of his cars. The replica produces 400 hp and 400 lb.-ft of torque. Those are magic numbers.
