The gang is back together!

With the signing of Bubba Wallace to drive full-time in Cup next year, the heirs apparent of NASCAR - Wallace, Ryan Blaney, Chase Elliott, Kyle Larson and Daniel Suarez - will be going head to head every week. And no one could be happier than Ryan Blaney.

"The people you grow up racing with, you're there every single weekend with them so that gives you a friendship with them already," said Blaney to ForTheWin.com. "I started racing with Bubba at a young age, and Chase Elliott, so those guys are some of my best friends at the race track just because I grew up with them."

Blaney is especially tight with Wallace. The two have had a bromance for several years, hanging together at and away from the track. So it was only fitting Blaney had some fun with the Wallace announcement.

"I'm looking forward to racing with him again every week," Blaney said. "It's been a couple years since I've raced with him full-time in anything, so that's going to be a lot of fun to see him at the race track on Sundays."

Wallace was the final piece of the puzzle that NASCAR originally assembled back in 2012 as part of the NASCAR Next program. Dubbed as the "young guns", those five drivers have come up through the ranks and showed they're more than capable. Blaney, Elliott, and Larson all qualified for the playoffs this year. Suarez had an impressive rookie season. Blaney says Wallace made the most of his chances and proved he deserved a full-time Cup ride.

"It's a great opportunity for him," Blaney said. "He's worked really hard at trying to get here. It's cool to see a team that wants to have him and is very excited to have him on board and to give him a shot."

And now that they're back together, these two best friends can keep doing what best friends do...hang out on weekends, drive cars, and make really strange videos.

Let's hope they keep music just as a hobby.
