Retired NASCAR driver and Xfinity/Truck series champ Greg Biffle is having no trouble keeping busy since stepping away from competitive racing in 2017.

Biffle is now officially part General Tire's Team GT, according to tirebusiness.com. His role will be as social media correspondent, which means Biffle gets to drive all sorts of vehicles in all kinds of settings using General Tire products and then post about it as part of their "Anywhere is Possible" marketing campaign.

"Greg's voice will provide a change of pace in the channels," Travis Roffler, General's director of marketing, said. "His perspective will be a great third-party approach and will allow us to earn new followers, increase our awareness, and of course, generate tons of content."

Makes sense, especially for General Tire. Biffle's 293-thousand Twitter followers dwarf General Tire 4 to 1. His involvement will raise their profile far more than raising his own, but it appears Biffle gets to have fun doing what he loves...driving. His first outing was less driving and more sitting, though.

Having to get towed out of mud your first time out might be embarrassing for some, but Biffle had fun with it. Biffle's first official engagement is taking place down in New Orleans where General Tire is launching two new products to their tire line.
