NASCAR shows it's pride in America with a special ceremony before Richmond

Richmond Raceway is scheduled to honor America in one of the best ways possible and race fans will love it.

As part of pre-race ceremonies today, Richmond Raceway plans to honor each branch of the military by including some very brave men and women to be part of the ceremony.

The news was announced in Speedway Digest.

Each representative of their respective branch will have an honorary role, prior to the waving of the green flag in the Federated Auto Parts 400 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race.

If that weren't enough, the "President's Own" United States Marine band will perform the National Anthem and God Bless America.

Fans in attendance will also be treated to two fly-overs by the Bandit Flight Team.

The race is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. EST
