Another one bites the dust.

LiftMaster has announced that it will end its sponsorship with Hendrick Motorsports after a three-year run.

In a statement to the Sports Business Journal, said its "three-year run as a sponsor for Hendrick's Motorsports and Kasey Kahne will conclude following the end of the NASCAR Cup Series season. LiftMaster has enjoyed the partnership and wishes Hendrick Motorsports and its employees and drivers continued success on and off the track.

LiftMaster and Hendrick entered into the deal in 2014 to sponsor the No. 5 driven by Kasey Kahne. The deal called for LiftMaster to sponsor three races a year.

Hendrick released Kahne from his deal this season, and he's since announced he's joining Leavine Family Racing.

Losing any sponsor in today's climate is a big deal, no matter how many races they sponsor.
