The most anticipated vehicle debut at the 2019 North American International Auto Show is definitely the 2020 Toyota Supra, but Toyota Motor North America has something even sportier planned for Detroit: the Lexus RC F Track Edition. Although details are slim, such a claim puts the hardcore Lexus RC F Track Edition in good company with the LFA rated 562 horsepower and the current runner-up performer, the Lexus LC 500. Chances are, the RC F Track Edition will get a retuned version of the 5.0-liter V8 engine shared by both the LC 500 and the regular RC F. It should be about as close to a street legal Lexus RC F GT racecar as you can buy.

Recent spy shots also suggest that this new RC F model will get retuned styling elements for both aerodynamics and cooling, a carbon fiber hood, and a larger wheel/tire/brake combination.
