In an episode of Matt Farah's One Take back in January 2018, he puts a Hellcat Challenger through hell on Buttonwillow Raceway Park in Southern California. If that description hasn't sold you on this video yet, well then keep reading.

Per TheSmokingTire:

For 2018, Dodge has made the Demon's wider body work available on the Hellcat as well, with wider front and rear tracks and now running 30mm larger, 305-section Pirelli P-Zero tires! We hit the track at Buttonwillow to find that yes, the wider Challenger is more stable at high speed bends and more predictable in corner entry and lower speed corners. This Challenger is equipped with the 8-Speed Automatic transmission and has an MSRP of $75,000.

Buttonwillow was set up for test and tune, so the 3.1-mile long track featured 16 corners. Considering the Hellcat was built more for drag racing, this isn't really the car's natural habitat, but Matt didn't just bring out any Hellcat. This episode stars a Widebody Hellcat Challenger which is a $7,000 factory option from Dodge. For 2018 Dodge made the Demon's wider body available on the Challenger which means they can now fit a 30mm wider tire on all four corners. This should translate to a more stable and predictable track car, but Matt finds out that, although the car handles better, it's hard to get away from that 4,440 lb curb weight.

Enjoy the video and turn up the volume. That 707 horsepower supercharged engine sounds so good at wide open throttle.
