Danica Patrick has had it tough lately.

She doesn't have a sponsor for next season, making her future in the No. 10 Ford Fusion for Stewart-Haas racing cloudy at best.

After finishing with a with a rash of DNFs through the first 17 races of the year -- she racked up  seven since the series started --- she recently completed a stretch in which she finished a trinity of top-20 finishes, which is only the third time that's happened in  her career. Her most recent win took place at Pocono Raceway where she finished in 15th place; that means she  achieved a career record with four consecutive top-15 finishes. (She finished 22nd at Watkins Glen and Michigan).

Overall, she's 28th in the standings this year, and she says that's not enough to keep her motivated to continue racing.

"I want to continue racing if I have an opportunity to do well," Patrick told ESPN. "I have no interest, as I've said for years now, to run 20th to 25th. That's not fun. If I don't feel like I can have the opportunity to move on from there and have a better opportunity, then honestly, I don't care [about racing] just because it's not fun. I don't drive because I love the thrill of getting sideways."

But in order to even try to get better, she has to find a sponsorship so she can continue to ride.
