Before Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s final run at Martinsville, he was approached by a crying fan in the garage.

The boy didn't get an autograph from Earnhardt, but he did get the meet the driver in the garage before the race. Earnhardt put his arm around him and consoled him while the boy was crying in front of the No. 88 car.

Earnhardt gave the child hot passes to go along with the hug, and it certainly looked like it brightened his day after not getting the autograph.

Good on Dale Jr., who turned this child's day around in the span of only a minute. It was a really cool moment for both the fan and Earnhardt.
