"I just thought it was so cool that I could go so fast, and everything was a blur, and I got to do it myself," says fourteen year-old Haven Jarel. "I was really free, I think I always held onto that." Customizing a Christmas gifted CL-70 into a CL-110, and outfitting the old trail rider with the more street-appropriate dropbars, a true sport suspension, made his own seat bracket and headlight brackets. Once he tuned the bike to the specifications he desired, he showed it to the other motorcycle building enthusiasts at the Deus Build-Off. They were so impressed with his prowess at his age, they not only invited him to the competition, but let him walk with third place overall. "It was the craziest thing I've ever felt in my whole life."
