This ratty old Civic is a blast on track

This Frenchman's 1976 Honda Civic took five years to perfect, and the results are fantastic. Despite its looks, you can tell George loves his Civic, even shipping it to its birthplace in Japan to race it on the Tsukuba Circuit. Under a taped hood is the swapped engine from a CRX, built with only the highest quality parts and he converted the car to a manual transmission. The custom work includes a diffuser, a side exit exhaust, and a flat panel underneath to further help it slip through the air. The car may only have around 130 hp, but only weighs 1,400 lbs. Watching it blast around the Nürburgring will bring a smile to your face.
