Team Penske has made several changes this offseason in preparation for the 2018 season, and the headliner was adding Ryan Blaney to its Cup Series lineup.
Most recently, the team brought in Robby Benton as team manager of NASCAR operations. Benton was an owner in the Xfinity Series and IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship before making the move to Team Penske.
He owned Change Racing in IMSA, and he fielded over 200 cars in the Xfinity Series from 2008 to 2015.
At Team Penske, Benton will handle administrative duties and anything related to competition for the Cup and Xfinity Series.

Benton said in a press release that he hopes to help Team Penske expand its NASCAR operations.

He has a world-class operation and expects nothing but the best from his people, and that shows on and off the track. I've emulated many of Team Penske's values through my own programs, so it's especially meaningful to now be a part of this team. I'm honored to receive this opportunity and I hope I can help the organization continue moving forward as they continue to expand their NASCAR operations."
Team Penske should have one of the top teams in NASCAR next season with Brad Keselowski, Joey Logano and Blaney. Keselowski made the championship race last season, and the team is hoping all three drivers are in the playoffs next season.
