Hard racing at a South Carolina short track and one driver is apologizing for his behavior.

The race was the Meltdown at Greenville Pickens Speedway on Saturday. Drivers were competing for $10,000, attracting some of the biggest names in short-track including Matthew Craig and Bubba Pollard. It was those two who were getting into each other off a restart, bumping out of turns 1 and 2, reports shorttrackscene.com.

It continued into the next restart when Pollard led the pack low on the track with Craig right behind. Then Craig gets into Pollard and spins him towards the wall. Donnie Wilson tried to stay clean but hit Pollard. Both drivers were done. Track officials were not happy and pulled Craig from the race and escorted him off the property.

Almost as soon as he was gone, Craig posted on Twitter his apology for his actions.

"I am extremely sorry for all the damages, this was in no way intentional," read in part Craig's tweet.

Pollard didn't comment about the wreck or Craig's move but did post his own tweet.
