Shane van Gisbergen adds multi-race primary NASCAR sponsor

Shane van Gisbergen has expanded his Cup Series sponsor lineup. He will reunite with SafetyCulture as the company joins him on a multi-race deal.

SafetyCulture, which previously partnered with van Gisbergen, will kick off its eight-race schedule on April 13 at Bristol Motor Speedway. The company will showcase its purple scheme as the three-time Supercars champion continues his pursuit of another Cup win.

SafetyCulture will return to the No. 88 Trackhouse Racing Chevrolet at Talladega Superspeedway on April 27, Texas Motor Speedway on May 4, Kansas Speedway on May 11, Michigan International Speedway on June 8, Mexico City on June 15, and Pocono Raceway on June 22.

The final event of the multi-race deal will take place at Daytona International Speedway on Aug. 23. SafetyCulture will serve as the primary sponsor of Ross Chastain and the No. 1 team to close out the schedule.

"I have got to meet so many new people in America that I now call my friends, but it is really nice to see SafetyCulture who has been part of my racing career in New Zealand and Australia join me over here," van Gisbergen said in a press release.

"They have seen the power of NASCAR, and I know they plan to be at a lot of races and use this relationship with Trackhouse and myself to connect with our amazing fans in America and around the world."

The multi-race deal with Trackhouse Racing expands upon the partnership from last season. SafetyCulture previously served as a full-season associate sponsor for the organization while following van Gisbergen to NASCAR.

The company also served as the primary sponsor for four Xfinity Series events and a Cup Series event at Daytona International Speedway.

Van Gisbergen posted top-10 finishes at Phoenix Raceway and Kansas Speedway with SafetyCulture colors on his No. 97 Chevrolet as he continued to gain experience on oval tracks. An engine issue ended his day early at Daytona International Speedway.
