One NASCAR crew chief has now been fined five times for the same violation

Lost in the news of the suspensions and fine handed down by NASCAR after Martinsville was this little nugget:

A crew chief has been fined for the fifth time for the same violation.

NASCAR.com reported Scott Graves, the crew chief for  Joe Gibbs Racing, has five unsecured lug nut violations on the No. 19 Toyota driven by Daniel Suarez. He's also racked up this penalties fairly quickly because he just became crew chief at the end of March.

In total, the penalties --  at Pocono (June), New Hampshire (July), Bristol  (August) and Charlotte  (October) have cost $50,000

Graves also had problems when he was crew chief for the No. 18 in the Xfinity series driven by Kyle Busch. He was fined $10,000 and suspended a race for when the post-race inspection found height measurements were outside NASCAR allowed tolerances.
