Ryan Newman has one victory under his belt this season, and he has already qualified for the postseason.
Newman's peers considering him among the toughest drivers to pass in the sport, and Newman discussed what makes him so difficult to get by on NBC's NASCAR America.
"That's kind of what I get paid to do, go fast and don't let anybody else go faster," Newman said jokingly. "I just hold my line, get down into the corner and take my path and hold them off. It's the right time and right place. I won't do it on the third lap or the 30th lap, but it's toward of the end of the race when it really makes a difference."

Newman is 15th in the points, and he won at Phoenix earlier this season.

Newman has two top-5 finishes in his last four races, and he will look to add another victory Saturday night at Bristol.
