RFK Racing has shown off the aftermath of a stunning Watkins Glen crash that led to William Byron's car wedged on top of Brad Keselowski's car.
RFK Racing provided a new look at Keselowski's damaged No. 6 Ford Mustang on Monday, the day after Chris Buescher won the Watkins Glen race. The photo shows the spot where Byron's wheel landed, which was easily identifiable due to the destroyed body panels.

"Wow!! That's crazy! Such a scary wreck! I'm glad Brad was ok," one racing fan posted on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter. Others weighed in and joked that Byron just wanted to ask Keselowski about tire wear at the Glen.
The incident occurred with under 10 laps remaining in the scheduled distance. Joey Logano made contact with Keselowski, which sent the No. 6 to the left. Byron had a run on Logano's inside, so he pulled to the left and went to make the pass.
However, Byron collided with the rear of Keselowski's car, which launched the No. 24 Chevrolet into the air. Byron's car slammed into the guardrail before rebounding and landing on the driver's side of Keselowski's car.

The two vehicles remained wedged together as they continued sliding down the track. NASCAR displayed the caution flag as viewers expressed concern about the location of Byron's tire, which was right next to Keselowski's window.
The window net remained intact and prevented the tire from going into the cockpit of the No. 6 Ford.
While the crash was stunning, both drivers were still able to leave without assistance. Byron and Keselowski extricated their cars and continued with the final laps of the race. They just didn't have opportunities to contend for strong finishes.
"I am not sure exactly what happened, but I was trying to get to the outside of the No. 22, and the No. 6 kind of hooked back to the left," Byron said after crossing the finish line 34th.
