NASCAR announces serious star power for Daytona 500

As the NASCAR world prepares for next month's Daytona 500 a recent announcement might get them even more excited for the event.

Superstar country music group Rascal Flatts will be performing during the pre-race show at the 60th annual Daytona 500 on February 18, according to

The group recently released their 10th studio album Back to Us and had back-to-back singles top the charts with I Like The Sound Of That in 2016 and Yours If You Want It in 2017.

"Rascal Flatts has been around for nearly two decades, establishing itself as one of America's most popular musical acts in any genre," said Daytona International Speedway President Chip Wile. "We are proud to have this outstanding trio on hand for our milestone 60th annual DAYTONA 500."

Rascal Flatts are the best-selling country group of the past decade and one of the top-selling tour acts as well with over 10 million tickets sold. The group has been around for nearly 20 years but have seen enormous success for the past 10.
