NTT IndyCar Series reveals Grand Prix of Arlington schedule

The inaugural NTT IndyCar Series street race in Arlington, Texas, officially has a date. The open-wheel series has revealed the weekend schedule for the historic event.

According to a news release, the Grand Prix of Arlington will take place March 13-15, 2026. Practice will be on Friday, March 13, 2026. Qualifying will be on Saturday, March 14, 2026.

The Grand Prix of Arlington will be on Sunday, March 15, 2026. Drivers will tackle the 2.73-mile, 14-turn track that weaves its way through the Arlington core sports and entertainment district. They will race past AT&T Stadium (home to the Dallas Cowboys), Globe Life Field (home to the Texas Rangers), and Choctaw Stadium (former home of the Rangers).

Tickets for the Texas street race will go on sale later this year.

"The IndyCar Grand Prix of Arlington is definitely circled on the calendar," said Arrow McLaren driver Pato O'Ward in a press release.

"Texans love racing, and they love big events. So, this is going to be mega. Hopefully, it will set the new standard for a street circuit race in North America."

The inaugural street race in Arlington is the result of a collaboration between Penske Entertainment, the Dallas Cowboys, and REV Entertainment -- the official sports and entertainment partner of the Texas Rangers.

"Through a truly remarkable and innovative partnership, we're going to build racing's next global spectacle," said Roger Penske in October 2024.

"Everyone involved is fully committed to delivering an incredible and unique event weekend for the city of Arlington, anchored by the stars of the NTT IndyCar Series.

"We're grateful to the Cowboys, Rangers, and REV Entertainment for entering into this partnership with us, and, of course, to Arlington's leadership team for their excitement and ongoing support."

With the schedule set for the 2026 race, NTT IndyCar Series teams will move forward with the 2025 schedule. Alex Palou won the March 2 season-opening race on the streets of St. Petersburg. Next is the Grand Prix of Long Beach, which takes place on April 13.
