A storied race track that was home to a legend will soon be bulldozed

Nazareth Speedway will soon be no more.

The dirt track that was then paved and was the home of Mario Andretti is close to being sold to a local developer who will use the property for commercial and residential use, according to WFMZ-TV.

Nazareth, located near Nazareth, PA., opened in about 1910 as a dirt track, but was eventually. The Penske-owned track was home to the Andretti's -- Mario and Michael. It hosted a bunch of NASCAR events before closing in 2004.

Nazareth has seen it's share of action, including exciting track moments ..
