NASCAR Saturday schedule at Nashville Superspeedway


The NASCAR weekend at Nashville Superspeedway continues with a busy Saturday schedule featuring two of the national series.

NASCAR Xfinity Series teams will practice, qualify, and race at the 1.33-mile Tennessee track. Cup Series team will practice and qualify for Sunday's Cracker Barrel 400.

Forty drivers will try to qualify for Saturday's Xfinity Series race. Only 38 will make the field.

The list of guest drivers includes Aric Almirola (No. 19), Thomas Annunziata (No. 70), Myatt Snider (No. 91), Jeffrey Earnhardt (No. 24), Corey Day (No. 17), Logan Bearden (No. 14), Ross Chastain (No. 9), Nick Leitz (No. 07), Katherine Legge (No. 32), Glen Reen (No. 35), and Mason Maggio (No. 53).

Saturday forecastThe forecast calls for mostly sunny skies throughout the day and a slight chance of a rain shower. A high of 79 degrees and a 5% chance of rain at the start of the Xfinity Series race.

  • 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. -- Cup Series garage hours
  • 12:30 p.m. -- Xfinity Series garage hours
  • 2:05 - 3 p.m. -- Xfinity Series practice (CW app)
  • 3:10 - 4 p.m. -- Xfinity Series qualifying (CW app)
  • 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. -- Cup Series practice (Prime Video, Radio coverage on PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio)
  • 5:40 - 6:30 p.m. -- Cup qualifying (Prime Video, Radio coverage on PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio)
  • 7:30 p.m. -- Xfinity Series race (188 laps, 250.04  miles. CW, Radio coverage on PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio)

Playoff picture: The Xfinity Series drivers have competed 13 races. Six have secured their spots in the playoffs.

Austin Hill leads the series with three wins. Justin Allgaier is second with two wins. Jesse Love, Sammy Smith, Connor Zilisch, and Brandon Jones each have one win.

Harrison Burton currently sits above the playoff cutline with 323 points. Nick Sanchez is the first driver out of the playoffs with 320 points. Sanchez is 12th in points, but Smith would move ahead of him with his win.

Past Winners: Xfinity Series teams have competed at Nashville Superspeedway 25 times. Only one driver in the field has won at the 1.33-mile track. Allgaier won in 2022.
