NASCAR playoff weekend schedule at Talladega

All three of the national NASCAR series are in action for a busy playoff weekend at Talladega Superspeedway.

Craftsman Truck Series teams will kick off the Round of 8 after Ben Rhodes and Daniel Dye were eliminated from championship contention at Kansas last weekend.

Xfinity Series teams will continue the opening round of the playoffs while the Cup Series teams will continue the second round of the playoffs.

No drivers from either series have secured spots in the Round of 8 due to non-playoff drivers -- Aric Almirola and Ross Chastain -- winning last weekend's races at Kansas.

Talladega is a superspeedway, so the weekend will not include any practice sessions. Teams across the national series will simply qualify and then race.
