Some powerhouse names are coming together to develop the next generation of NASCAR drivers.

Roush Fenway Racing says they will partner with Ford Performance and Team Penske to field a full-time driver development team in Xfinity for 2018. Three drivers - Ty Majeski, Austin Cindric and Chase Briscoe - will share duties driving the #60 Roush Fenway Ford Mustang.

"All three of these drivers have exhibited a great deal of potential on and off the track," Roush Fenway president Steve Newmark said in a press release and reported by nbcsports.com. "It's going to be a lot of fun to watch as they hone their skills together and grow into the next generation of champions in our sport."

Majeski, Cindric and Briscoe are all known quantities, each having won races or championships on different levels. Majeski has won the ARCA Midwest Tour championship four years in a row and has 3 starts in Xfinity. Cindric has one win and eight top-5 finishes in trucks for 2017 and advanced to the championship round. Briscoe won the 2016 ARCA championship and has one win and ten top-5 finishes in Xfinity this season.
