NASCAR - Circuit of the Americas weekend schedule, forecast

The NASCAR season continues with its first road course event. Two national series will compete at Circuit of the Americas.

The trip to Texas will feature Xfinity Series teams on Saturday and Cup Series teams on Sunday. They will compete on the shorter, 2.3-mile, 20-turn National Course that eliminates roughly 1 mile of the backstretch.

Truck Series teams are off for the first time this season, but competitors from another series will replace them. IMSA's VP Racing SportsCar Challenge will take on the road course with a pair of Saturday races.
