Eight teams will miss 15 minutes of practice time in the final Friday practice at Bristol after inspection failures from last week at Michigan.

NBCSports reports that the affected teams are those of Jamie McMurray, Kasey Kahne, Clint Bowyer, Chase Elliott, Chris Buescher, AJ Allmendinger, Jimmie Johnson and Martin Truex Jr.

Losing out practice time may seem like a small price to pay, but 15 minutes goes a long way on a track like Bristol for the teams to tinker with settings to get everything dialed in just right.
