Dale Earnhardt Jr. leaving practice in a medical cart was just the start of his bad luck

This is not the way Dale Earnhardt Jr. wanted to start.

Dale Jr. hit the wall at practice in Charlotte, and not only took a medical cart off the track, but later learned that his primary car is damaged beyond repair.

He'll have to use a back-up car in the race.

As noted above, he's fine. But it's a lousy way to start.
