Kyle Weatherman has been racing in the ARCA Racing Series since he was 15, and now the 20-year-old will make his NASCAR Cup Series debut on Sunday at Martinsville Speedway.

Weatherman will be driving the No. 51 car for Rick Ware Racing, and he will also drive the car for the Nov. 12 race at Phoenix Raceway.

Weatherman has made 50 ARCA starts and has one win. He also raced in one Truck Series race in 2015.

He said in a press release that he's excited to have the chance to race in the Cup Series.

"I am so excited to get this unbelievable opportunity to make my first start at the NASCAR Cup level," Weatherman said. "I am so thankful for all of the people who have helped me along the way and I am literally shaking. Thanks to Rick Ware for providing me the opportunity and believing and trusting I can do a good job for his team."

Weatherman won't have any pressure on him, so perhaps that will help him as he makes his official debut in the series.
