Josh Berry and Wood Brothers Racing will showcase a new sponsor during the race weekend at Dover Motor Speedway, albeit one that regularly takes on Cup Series races with another driver.
According to a Tuesday announcement, the No. 21 Ford Mustang will feature a black, red, and yellow Advance Auto Parts scheme as part of a new deal. This is a one-race partnership between Berry, Wood Brothers Racing, and Advance Auto Parts.

This partnership is a significant milestone for Berry despite its shorter length. The reason is that the auto parts chain has long supported NASCAR's grassroots racing series, which the Tennessee driver used to earn opportunities and rise up the ranks.
A milestone moment for Berry came when he captured the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series championship.
"To have Advance Auto Parts on board at Dover is really special to me," Berry said in a press release.
"They've done so much to support grassroots racing across the country, and I'm proud to have won the Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series championship back in 2020. It means a lot to now represent them at the Cup level with Wood Brothers Racing."
The auto parts distributor primarily supports Team Penske's Ryan Blaney -- Berry's de facto teammate -- in the Cup Series. Blaney's No. 12 Ford has used 25 races to showcase the black, yellow, and red scheme since the 2020 season.
Blaney's best finish with the Advance Auto Parts colors came at Iowa Speedway last season. He dominated while leading 201 of the 350 laps in front of dozens of family members and friends. He captured his first win of the season and punched his ticket back to the playoffs.
Berry, like Blaney, has a secure spot in the playoffs. He won the spring race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, his first trip to victory lane as a Cup Series driver. However, he remains 21st in the Cup Series standings after only posting three top-10 finishes. He only has six playoff points, which will likely put him below the cutline when the playoffs begin.
The trip to Dover Motor Speedway will both provide Berry with a chance to showcase a new sponsor on the No. 21 and an opportunity to score more points.
This race weekend will mark Berry's third Cup start at Dover. He made his debut in 2021 with Spire Motorsports and then he replaced an injured Alex Bowman in 2023. Berry finished 10th in the No. 48 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet. He then finished 14th last season while driving for Stewart-Haas Racing.
