Legacy Motor Club driver John Hunter Nemechek has a key partner in place for 14 races next season.
According to a Tuesday announcement, Pye-Barker Fire & Safety has renewed its sponsorship of Legacy Motor Club. The company will return as a primary partner of the No. 42 team and Nemechek in 2026 while also continuing to activate with the team in other ways.
"We are thrilled to have Pye-Barker Fire & Safety renew for next season," said Legacy MC co-owner Jimmie Johnson in a press release. "John Hunter and the No. 42 team are great representatives of the brand, and our collective goal is to put Pye-Barker back in victory lane."
Continuing their LEGACY.

This extension continues a partnership with Legacy Motor Club that began in 2024, Nemechek's first season in the No. 42 Toyota Camry XSE. The company sponsored the No. 42 team for seven races that season and then increased its presence this season.
Pye-Barker Fire & Safety has taken over the No. 42 in eight races so far, which includes back-to-back sixth-place finishes in Mexico City and at Pocono Raceway.
Of course, Nemechek's time with Pye-Barker Fire & Safety goes back even further. He had the company as his primary partner on the No. 4 Kyle Busch Motorsports Toyota Tundra in both 2021 and '22 as he contended for the Truck Series championship.
Nemechek also won three Xfinity Series races with Pye-Barker in 2023 and '24 while driving for Joe Gibbs Racing. This includes a dominant performance at Kansas Speedway as he led 154 of the 200 laps.
Pye-Barker Fire & Safety has now committed to another 14 races with Nemechek as he continues to pursue Cup Series milestones. The North Carolina native has already set career-best marks this season with six top-10 finishes, one top-five, and an average finish of 19.5.
"Having Pye-Barker Fire & Safety back with us for another year is a huge win for our team," Nemechek said. "Their values of service, trust, and care for their team and communities line up perfectly with what we're building here.
"We're looking forward to another year of growing together both on and off the track. I'm looking forward to representing them in 14 races next year and hopefully taking them to Victory Lane again."
