Jeff Gordon might be retired from racing, but that still doesn't stop him from driving fast and passing fellow drivers on the highway.
Gordon apparently passed someone aggressively on the highway, and whoever he passed flipped him off. Gordon tweeted out his "apology" and said his excitement to get to Daytona got the best of him.
To the kind man who gave me ??on the hwy today...while your gesture was warranted as my pass was a little aggressive, I hope u can except my apology & know I meant no harm. My excitement to get to @DISupdates and see some great racing did get the best of me. Have a nice day.

Jeff Burton joked that it was him that gave Gordon the bird, and Gordon said Burton needed to work on his communication skills.
No problem bud. We can talk about it later on the backstretch ? https://t.co/1BGeL2oCI4

We need to work on your communication skillls, last time we met on the backstretch there wasn?t much talking going on but at least you?ve progressed to sign language these days!? https://t.co/4zAwSwslOX

Hopefully the driver who gave Gordon the bird realizes who it was after seeing Gordon's tweet. That would be a pretty cool story to tell people.
