Stage 1: Christian Eckes won the opening stage after passing Grant Enfinger with five laps to go. Corey Heim, Tyler Ankrum, Rajah Caruth, Ross Chastain, Nick Sanchez, Dean Thompson, Sammy Smith, and Daniel Dye rounded out the top 10.
Ty Majeski challenged for the lead at the end of the stage but had to make a trip down pit road to serve a restart violation penalty. He fell outside the top 30 in the closing laps of the stage.
Stage 2: Eckes dominated during the second stage and locked up another playoff point. This was his series-high seventh stage win of the season. Majeski, Heim, Matt Crafton, Ankrum, Chastain, Layne Riggs, Thompson, Caruth, and Sanchez all scored stage points.
Heim blew a tire midway through the second stage after contact with Eckes. He was able to get back on the lead lap after stopping on pit road for repairs, and he scored crucial points.
Playoff picture: Enfinger and Ankrum did not celebrate the win, but they checked off an important goal. They both locked themselves into the playoffs on points.
Only three spots remain in the playoff field. Taylor Gray is in the best spot at 48 points above the cutline. Two-time champion Ben Rhodes is 22 points above the cutline. Tanner Gray is five points above the cutline. Daniel Dye is the first driver out of a playoff spot as he sits five points behind Gray.
Next: All of the NASCAR series are off for the Olympic break. Truck Series teams will return to action at Richmond Raceway on Saturday, Aug. 10. This race is the regular-season finale that sets the 10-driver playoff field.
