How to watch Xfinity race at Las Vegas: TV info, weather


The NASCAR Xfinity Series season continues Saturday with a race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

This is the fifth race of the Xfinity Series season. It marks the 36th time that the Xfinity Series has competed at the Nevada track. The teams will use this weekend's race to gather notes for October's playoff race.

Weather: The WeatherUnderground forecast calls for sunny skies with a high of 66 degrees and a 2% chance of rain throughout the day.

Green flag time: The green flag will wave at 4:45 p.m. ET.

Starting lineup: JR Motorsports drivers took the top three starting spots. Full starting lineup here.

Pre-race: The Xfinity Series garage opens at 11:30 a.m. ET. Driver introductions will take place at 3:55 p.m. ET. Pre-race coverage begins with "NASCAR Countdown Live" on CW at 4 p.m. ET. Race coverage continues on CW at 4:30 p.m. ET.

Stages: The race will consist of three stages. The first stage ends at Lap 45. The second stage ends at Lap 90. The scheduled end of the race is Lap 200.

Playoff picture: Three drivers have locked up spots in the playoffs by winning this season. Jesse Love was the first. He captured the season-opening race at Daytona International Speedway. Teammate Austin Hill followed with a win at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Rookie Connor Zilisch was the latest driver to secure a spot in the playoffs. He won the road course race at Circuit of the Americas. Aric Almirola, a driver running a part-time schedule, won last weekend's race at Phoenix after a near-photo finish with Alex Bowman.

Past winners: Only one driver on the entry list has an Xfinity Series win at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Austin Hill won the 2023 spring race. Fourteen other active drivers have logged Xfinity wins at the 1.5-mile track since 2012. They all now compete full-time in the Cup Series.
