Hendrick Motorsports has some serious talent, and that young talent will make history at the Daytona 500.

The team, in a news story on its website, noted that Hendrick Motorsports will make NASCAR history when it becomes the first team to start three drivers under the age of 25 in the Daytona 500: Alex Bowman (24), Chase Elliott (22) and William Byron (20).

Bowman is on the pole, and all four Hendrick drivers (remember that Jimmie Johnson guy?) are starting in the top 10.

Hendrick is shaping up for a powerhouse year. Elliott may be the best young driver without a win -- he has seven second-place finishes -- and Byron, the defending Xfinity champ, is a strong candidate for Rookie of the Year. Johnson is going for his eight title, and Bowman showed his promise by grabbing the pole.
