Fanatics Sportsbook teams up with JJ Yeley for NASCAR debut

JJ Yeley and the NY Racing Team have joined forces with Fanatics Sportsbook as the betting platform makes its NASCAR Cup Series debut.

According to a press release, Fanatics Sportsbook will take over the No. 44 Chevrolet for two upcoming races. Its first will be the Cracker Barrel 400 at Nashville Superspeedway on June 1. The second will be the season finale at Phoenix Raceway on Nov. 2.

The No. 44 Chevrolet will feature the Lava Red and Black scheme with white roof and door numbers. The Fanatics Sportsbook logos will take up prominent space on the hood and sides of the Cup Series car.

The Cracker Barrel 400 will be the second race on the Prime Video schedule. It will be air for Amazon Prime subscribers, Prime Video subscribers, or those using a free 30-day trial. The Cup Series finale will close out the NBC portion of the NASCAR schedule.

"We are proud to partner with John Cohen and the New York Racing Team," said Selena Kalvaria, CMO of Fanatics Betting and Gaming, in a press release. "The partnership with New York Racing Team is an incredible branding opportunity and an inflection point for us as we continue to build the fastest growing sportsbook in America.*

"We are going to develop exclusive content for NASCAR fans and curate an elevated experience for our customers at each race that only a brand like Fanatics can offer. Our employees and customers can't wait to cheer on the No. 44 Fanatics Sportsbook Chevrolet toward the checkered flag at Nashville Superspeedway and Phoenix Raceway."

The race at Nashville Superspeedway will mark Yeley's fifth start with the NY Racing team this season and the 391st start of his career. He previously controlled the No. 44 during events at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Homestead-Miami Speedway, Darlington Raceway, and Talladega Superspeedway. Yeley was one of four drivers who failed to qualify for the season-opening Daytona 500.
